JAKARTA - Head of the DPR RI Expertise Body (BK) Inosentius Samsul appointed Pradina Kurnia Sari Hidayah as Functional Officer for Young Expert Legal Analyst at the Secretariat General of the DPR RI. According to Sensi, as he is familiarly called, this inauguration is a development and guidance in Bureaucratic Reform in ASN. On this occasion he also expressed his appreciation and appreciation to Pradina Kurnia, and advised her to continue improving her self-development and scientific competence.
"This is part of the bureaucratic reform in the future government, the structure is being reduced, streamlined, then functional positions are being developed. For that reason I express my appreciation to sister Pradina. But switching to functional is not a bad thing in developing a person's career," explained Sensi in Nusantara III, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (11/12/2023).

After being officially inaugurated, Pradina Kurnia was sworn in according to the Islamic religion, guided by the Head of BKD. This inauguration is in accordance with the Decree of Secretary General Indra Iskandar. Sensi, who represents him, realizes that psychologically moving this position will be burdensome or resistant from a structural to a functional position. Therefore, he repeatedly gave motivation and appreciation to Pradina Kurnia. According to Sensi, in the future, bureaucratic reform requires poor structure, rich function.
"Because in the future ASN career development will be focused on functional positions as brand marking. This means that a person is first placed in a functional position, if that is necessary they will be moved to structural, but after changes occur they must be ready to return to functional," explained Sensi.
In developing personal competence, Sensi advised Kurnia Sari to continue studying and reading what she was responsible for in her functional position. According to him, learning is something that is fun, learning will train your way of thinking and increase your capacity. "When someone occupies a functional position, the thing that must be done is to develop their knowledge," said Sensi.
