The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance cooperation in various strategic sectors between Indonesia and Australia.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Albanese praised President Prabowo's global geopolitical initiatives, particularly his first foreign visits to both China and the United States.
PM Albanese expressed his hope for deeper collaboration between Indonesia and Australia, especially in agriculture, education, and health.
"I look forward to seeing more cooperation between our two countries. I hope that these relations will grow stronger in the future," said PM Albanese.
President Prabowo reaffirmed the strong friendship between Indonesia and Australia. As neighbors and close allies, President Prabowo emphasized his commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Australia across various sectors.
"We consider Australia a close friend of Indonesia. We want to deepen cooperation in areas such as Australia's participation in Indonesia's economy," stated President Prabowo.
President Prabowo also expressed appreciation for the existing collaboration between the two nations and encouraged Australia to foster strong relations and partnerships with other countries.
"Overall, I believe we have managed our relationship very well. I look forward to enhancing our ties with neighboring countries around us," President Prabowo concluded.
