SURABAYA - As a form of concern for the victims of the Gaza conflict, Pangkoarmada II Rear Admiral TNI Yayan Sofiyan, S.T., M.Sc., CHRMP., M.Tr.Opsla., symbolically received assistance for the victims of the Gaza conflict from the community and agencies in East Java , located at Madura Koarmada II Pier, Ujung Surabaya. On Tuesday, (28/11/2023).
The aid intended for victims of the Gaza conflict was transported in 80 trucks, which will later be taken by KRI Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 to Jakarta to be released directly by the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali, S.E., M.M., M.Tr.Opsla., headed to the conflict area.
Through his remarks, Pangkoarmada II expressed his thanks to all elements of East Java society and agencies who were willing to participate in donating and providing humanitarian aid to the victims of the Gaza conflict.
"With the various consequences that exist, the Indonesian Navy will ensure that all assistance that has been provided can arrive safely and be received by all victims of the Gaza conflict," said Pangkoarmada II.
Pangkoarmada II also said that the assistance provided was a form of solidarity and concern for the people of East Java for the victims of the Gaza conflict.
